I'm looking for roles where I can turn complex goals into actionable programs and initiatives. I'm especially interested in program management, strategy and implementation, public-sector and community partnerships, economic mobility, workforce development, and social impact.

Tianna Newton
@tiannanewton
Program manager at Urban Institute who designed the Local Equity Cohort curriculum and managed national initiatives.
What I'm looking for
At Urban Institute, I managed complex, multi-stakeholder programs and projects focused on economic mobility, racial equity, community development, and public systems. My work spanned program strategy and design, project and budget management, technical assistance, learning and facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and funder relationships. I designed and managed the Local Equity Cohort curriculum and learning experience for local government teams, led project management for the $2 million Equity Scoring Initiative in partnership with PolicyLink, and supported national initiatives serving local and regional practitioners across the country.
Earlier, at Sunday Creek Horizons, LLC, I supported community-centered planning and public-sector initiatives in Appalachian Ohio, including regional economic development, government relations, and research on low-income broadband access and workforce and community needs.
I'm particularly interested in roles where I can bring structure to complex work, connect strategy to implementation, and build effective programs and partnerships across organizations and sectors.
