Thatayame Motswaledi

I've led restaurant, bar, catering, and food-service operations across Botswana for more than 15 years. At Eden Bar, I’m leading the opening and management of a full-service restaurant and bar, establishing operating systems, menus, pricing, food-costing processes, and quality standards.

Through Six Billion Facades, which I founded and manage, I provide hospitality consultancy, culinary services, catering, event management, and operational support for clients including Grand Palm Hotel/GICC, Lactalis Botswana, Water Utilities Corporation, HATAB Makua Bush Hotel, and Botswana Association of Meat Board.

I’ve delivered executive kitchen leadership for government, corporate, VIP, and large-scale events, including catering for more than 1,500 guests at the Diacore Marathon and food production for approximately 750 delegates at the Africa Summit. I also supported Makua Bush Hotel’s opening through menu development, costing systems, and team training.

I bring hands-on experience in menu engineering, procurement, inventory control, staff development, food safety, customer experience, and hospitality start-ups. I’ve also taught and mentored future culinary professionals at Gaborone College of Culinary Arts.
