What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a fast-paced, customer-first retail role in a book-loving environment where I can handsell books, resolve customer needs quickly, and support store operations—including early mornings and overnight shifts—while building genuine community connections.

I’m applying for the Customer Experience Representative role at the Toronto Eaton Centre because books have been at the centre of my life: I run a BookTube channel, a Substack newsletter, and a monthly book club that builds communities around reading and recommending titles.

I bring direct experience from my seasonal role with Indigo Books & Music, where I worked the sales floor assisting customers with selections, processing transactions and returns, and maintaining store presentation standards in a high-traffic environment.

Outside retail, I support patrons as a Student Library Assistant at York University—helping with research inquiries and navigating busy service environments. I’m also trilingual (English, French, Russian) and comfortable with overnight and early-morning shifts, including lifting and merchandising operations.
