At Blach Construction Company, I lead pursuit strategy and pipeline reviews, using client intelligence, competitor research, past performance, client history, and bond funding to help BD executives prioritize opportunities. I created the 150-point Go/No-Go tool used to vet pursuits and match proposal load to team capacity.
I led 51 best-value and progressive design-build pursuits from 2016 to 2023, winning 17. I shaped proposals and interviews with architects, engineers, and trade partners around each owner’s vision and budget; the wins included three of the firm’s five highest-grossing projects.
I launched the firm’s first CRM, Unanet/Cosential, and later extended it beyond BD and proposals into operations and leadership. I turned 2,033 company records into a market and relationship map, and built CRM publishing that cut project-sheet production from 1–2 hours per sheet to several sheets in about 20 minutes.
I also designed the firm’s proposal AI program, with custom Claude tools for compliance matrices, resumes, and photo tagging behind human-review checkpoints. The compliance tool caught a revised due date and an added deliverable that manual review missed, and HR later adopted my AI training.
