Santiago Fernández Kramar
@santiagofernndezkram
Director of higher education tutoring and student support, optimizing academic processes with AI.
What I'm looking for
I’m a dynamic and experienced higher education professional with a strong track record in academic program management, postgraduate student support, and administrative team coordination. I coordinate institutional processes end-to-end—from official documentation to ongoing student guidance—so academic communities can succeed at every stage.
As Director of the Tutoring Department at the National University of Quilmes, I coordinate academic administration for postgraduate tutor and faculty training. I’ve implemented academic orientation strategies that improved postgraduate retention and success, and I designed and launched tutor monitoring and evaluation systems to strengthen the quality of academic guidance. I also develop training materials and resources for tutors and faculty, reinforcing the department’s role as a key link between academic management, teaching, and student support.
Earlier, as Head of the Student Division (2013–2019), I managed postgraduate student services including course registration, withdrawals, scholarships, and re-enrollments, while coordinating doctoral program processes and supporting academic committees. I contributed to implementing and validating the SIU-Guaraní academic management system, improved institutional communication and documentation processes, trained new administrative staff, and continue to apply digital tools and AI to streamline workflows, strengthen collaboration across cultures and timezones, and support students and scholars with clarity and efficiency.
