What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead employee and labor relations, HR operations, and organizational change in a complex, people-centered environment where I can partner with leaders, improve systems, and support fair, accountable workplace practices.

At the University of Michigan Robotics Department, I serve as the senior HR partner for approximately 100 faculty, staff, postdoctoral, temporary, and student employees. I advise leaders on employee relations, investigations, performance management, accommodations, leaves, organizational change, and policy application.

I guide hiring and appointment processes from position strategy and recruitment through compensation review, offers, onboarding, visa coordination, and appointment changes. I also partner across unionized and non-union environments, balancing employee support, collective bargaining requirements, institutional policy, and operational needs.

During a leadership transition, I concurrently served as Interim Unit Administrator, helping oversee operations for a growing department with an approximately $10 million budget. I build practical HR workflows, tools, documentation, and communications that improve accountability, consistency, and service for employees and leaders.
