Senior Database Architect, dba, senior recruiter building scalable, secure data platforms through ETL/BI. Also run an AI job board.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior Database Architect / DBA / Developer with 15+ years of experience designing, optimizing, and sustaining relational and non-relational data platforms. I focus on performance, scalability, and data integrity, especially in high-volume, mission-critical environments where reliability matters.
In recent roles, I’ve acted as a Lead Data Architect and DBA in teams of 15, driving database architecture and engineering support across development and operations. I lead automated and manual BI and ETL processes, create and validate complex SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL, PRO*C/C), and deliver stored procedures, functions, and programs that support both OLTP transaction processing and batch ETL feed processing.
I’m known for resolving complex performance issues and implementing robust data architectures for reporting and data quality. I’ve supported large-scale deployments with extensive DBA responsibilities—backup and recovery, data quality, tuning, and troubleshooting—while managing environments with hundreds to thousands of business users and large data volumes.
I also bring strong experience in data warehousing and integration: designing staging and data vault/mart schemas, building ETL architectures, profiling and cleansing data, and ensuring security and compliance (including SOX/HIPAA/privacy-related efforts). Beyond hands-on architecture, I’ve supported SDLC best practices, documentation standards, and training—translating business requirements into scalable, maintainable systems that teams can depend on.
