Senior Database Architect delivering BI/ETL, tuning, and scalable data platforms.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior Database Architect with “15 + years of experience” across the full SDLC, specializing in database design, development, administration, tuning, implementation, troubleshooting, and quality management for “large scaled distributed systems.” I lead end-to-end data delivery—designing back ends, validating SQL, and ensuring operational excellence from dev through production.
In my current role as “DATABASE ARCHITECT / DEVELOPER / ADMINISTRATOR,” I act as “Lead Data Architect/DBA/Developer” in a team supporting automated and manual BI and ETL processes, data feeds, and database builds using Oracle and MSSQL plus internet technologies. I create and test “complex SQL queries across multiple environments including PL/SQL, t-SQL, and PRO*C,” and I develop stored procedures, functions, and batch programs to support OLTP updates and ETL ingestion.
I build ETL architectures that scale and stay compliant. For example, I developed an “ETL architectural solution” in MSSQL Server that integrated multiple large data sources into a “single isolated staging environment,” using metadata models to resolve bottlenecks, improve loading throughput, and provide documentation, reviews, and “data analysis summaries” aligned to SDLC and compliance needs.
Across past engagements, I’ve delivered enterprise reporting and data warehousing for healthcare and utility/security environments, working with data volumes from “thousands of rows” to “millions of rows.” I’m at home designing data models and reporting architectures (data profiling, data quality, star/snowflake schemas), converting large PL/SQL estates to T-SQL, and enforcing reliable configuration and security practices—so the business can trust the data and act faster.
