Ria Tomlinson

I’m a senior at Georgia Southern studying math and finance, and I’m motivated by doing good work while learning fast. Even with visa restrictions limiting paid work during college, I pushed myself to build experience through entrepreneurship, internships, and community involvement.

As a Co-Owner/Operator of Bollywood Indian Bistro, I manage day-to-day operations including staffing, inventory, budgeting, and vendor relations. I’ve helped drive consistent profitability and growth through strategic menu planning, local marketing, and customer retention—while leading a team that delivers top-tier service and earns strong community loyalty.

I also bring a strong sales mindset from working as a Sales Advisor at Belk, where I delivered consultations and consistently exceeded aggressive sales goals. I built repeat customer relationships and earned recognition for upselling in a competitive retail environment.

Alongside operations and growth, I strengthen my financial foundation through experience as a Co-Founder/Operations & Business Development for a moving and packing company and as an Accounting Intern. I handle client scheduling, communication, finances, logistics, and I’ve supported accounting work like account reconciliation and financial reporting, including improving accounts payable processes.
