Reinhard Van Biljon

I currently work as a senior experience consultant in the content design team at EPAM Systems.

My role is to plan, design, and oversee the writing of content for scalable websites and apps. In my current role, I have worked on content for clients like KitchenAid, Visit Qatar, Trafigura, Compagnie des Alpes, and Nu Skin.

As the content design lead on projects, I work closely with UX/UI designers and developers. I oversee both story framing (lo-fi wireframes) and creating SEO-optimised copy. I often translate design thinking to writers, and storytelling to designers. My role is client facing, and often involves a degree of project management. I am comfortable using all the tools of trade, including Figma, Miro, Jira and yes, AI.

In between projects, I'm developing something I call sound design systems — creating branded sounds people actually want to hear.

Before growing into content design, I built up plenty of experience as a copywriter with a strong focus on retail advertising (especially TV and radio).
