Designed and delivered the Unilever SME Accelerator Programme, training 60+ local SMEs to meet corporate supplier qualification standards. Increased local diverse supplier inclusion from 2% to 10.3% over three years and supported spend localisation with a roadmap to reach 75% local content by 2030.

Managed $35M annual raw materials spend across a 55-supplier portfolio, delivering 8% annual savings through multi-round negotiations, market benchmarking, and volume consolidation. Led sourcing governance improvements and a cross-functional R&D substitution project that replaced imported Disodium Sulphate with locally available salt to cut cost, reduce lead times, and eliminate FX exposure.

Led procurement savings initiatives totaling €10.9M across direct and indirect categories by driving cross-functional delivery against committed targets. Delivered procurement analytics and digital transformation through Power BI/Excel dashboards and online vendor onboarding and contract lifecycle management using SAP and Coupa.

Sourced and negotiated packaging materials across Paper & Board, Plastics, and Flexible Packaging, managing tenders, supplier qualification, and contract administration. Resolved supplier payment disputes via structured reconciliation discipline and delivered €1M+ savings by removing waste and rationalising specifications to address systemic packaging quality bottlenecks.

Built procurement structures, supplier policies, and SOPs from scratch for L'Oréal East Africa, creating governance where none existed previously. Delivered 25% savings on packaging spend (KES 6M) and conducted competitive tenders for services including cleaning and leasing, achieving KES 1.72M in combined savings in 2014.
