I’m a PTCB-certified Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician with experience in a fast-paced retail setting, most recently supporting patients through Walgreens Pharmacy (formerly RiteAid). I focus on turning day-to-day workflow into dependable medication access and better outcomes for every person I serve.

I manage medication refill requests end-to-end—handling daily patient phone calls and electronic orders for refills, insurance coverage inquiries, Prior Authorizations, and co-pay questions. I also conduct Medication Therapy Management (MTM) calls to address polypharmacy, medication adherence, and duplicate prescriptions.

Accuracy and safety drive how I work: I maintain records for patient vaccines (covid and flu), prescription files, up-to-date OTC medications, and allergies, while ensuring precise data entry for new prescriptions. I remind patients to refill maintenance medications using open-ended questions, then follow up with doctor’s offices and coordinate with the pharmacist on duty when refills are needed.

I strengthen the whole pharmacy operation by managing medication inventory for timely dispensing, ample stock, and proper disposal of outdates. I’ve also mentored junior technicians on customer service, pharmacy software, and inventory management, and I handle customer queries and resolve complaints with a kind, professional approach.
