I’m a licensed pharmacy technician with over 4 years of retail pharmacy experience. In my current role at Walgreens, I fill patient prescriptions and packaged drugs accurately using two identifiers, verify insurance for proof of benefits, and help coordinate prior authorization by calling workers’ compensation for medication approval. I maintain drug inventory levels through ordering and receiving inventory, verify quantities against invoices, check for outdated medications, and operate/refill a Robotic Drug Dispensing system while following federal and state pharmaceutical rules, regulations, and procedures.
