I'm translating a female character-led fantasy young adult novel in the Bengali diaspora from Bengali to English for Antonym Collection, where I also work as an Associate Editor and Associate Proofreader.
My work combines translation, proofreading, content editing, transcription, and language teaching. As a freelance tutor, I taught Hindi from 2021 to 2025 and English from 2020 to 2026 in virtual settings.
During my Tata Institute of Social Sciences internship, I entered and analysed data, coded qualitative data, and translated and transcribed recorded Bengali-language material into English.
I hold an MRes in English Literature from Jadavpur University and a Diploma in Editing and Publishing. I also bring experience as a student reporter, literary-page content writer and editor, and women's cricket co-captain.
