Piruthivi Kulasegaram

I’m an Associate Software Engineer and Full Stack Developer with 2+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade web applications using React.js, Node.js, and Express.js across fintech, travel, healthcare, and enterprise domains. I’m comfortable owning features end-to-end—from REST API design and database modelling to responsive, accessible React frontends.

In my current role, I build and maintain MERN platforms with real-world admin workflows, secure authentication (JWT), and interactive user experiences. I’ve worked on a travel web application with location-based search and map-based pickers, a billboard management system with admin search/filtering and API-integrated carousels, an admin panel for tailoring product catalogue management, and a WooCommerce-based restaurant e-commerce site with online ordering and payment integration.

I also bring strong engineering depth from shipping 5+ production MERN applications during my internship, including LMS and travel/staff management systems, while architecting RBAC, real-time event calendars, and responsive React + Tailwind UIs backed by Node.js/Express.js and MongoDB. Alongside web engineering, I’m a published AI/ML researcher (IEEE TENSYMP) who integrated LLM-based personalised recommendations in an end-to-end ML pipeline using Python, CatBoost, and explainable outputs.
