I am a highly motivated Software Engineering student at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) and a Full-Stack Web Developer with a specialization in the MERN stack. My career is driven by a passion for bridging the gap between complex user requirements and robust technical implementations, a skill I have honed through both high-stakes academic projects and successful freelance deliveries.

Academic & Technical Excellence

My commitment to excellence is reflected in my academic record, where I have maintained a consistent presence on the SLIIT Dean's List for three consecutive semesters, including achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA in Year 1 Semester 2. Technically, I specialize in building end-to-end web solutions using React.js, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. I am also deeply interested in the evolution of Agentic AI and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, having integrated Python microservices and AI-powered validation into my recent full-stack applications.

Key Achievements & Impact

• FoodLoop: Engineered a multi-role logistics ecosystem with real-time tracking (Socket.io) and secure role-based access control, reaching the Semi-Finalist stage in the Dev{thon} 3.0 competition.

• OpenATS: Developed an open-source, AI-integrated Applicant Tracking System to give organizations full ownership of their recruitment data.

• Professional Delivery: Successfully deployed a full-scale commercial web project for Boltcrew Engineering, demonstrating my ability to meet professional industry standards.

Leadership & Community

I believe in the power of community and leadership within the tech space. Currently, I serve as the Batch Representative for my cohort and contribute as the Web Developer for the IEEE Computer Society at SLIIT. Additionally, I enjoy sharing knowledge, which I do by providing Python instruction to international students.

I am currently seeking an internship where I can apply my skills in API optimization, cloud deployment (AWS/Vercel), and responsive UI design to help a forward-thinking engineering team solve real-world problems.
