What I'm looking for

I seek challenging roles building highly available, distributed systems in cloud or private-cloud environments, with ownership of architecture, CI/CD, and production reliability.

I am a versatile senior software engineer with over 14 years in IT and more than 10 years of hands-on software development experience, currently working in Canada and pursuing studies in machine learning. I design, build, and deploy highly available, distributed systems that serve thousands to millions of users, with experience across authorization, document management, billing, payment, and web content systems.

At SS&C I led the design and deployment of a Central Authorization Bridge serving millions of users, built a document management system, and created deployment scripts for Kong, Patroni, Redis/Sentinel, and Hazelcast in a private cloud. I have strong experience with Java/Spring Boot, Postgres (Patroni), Python, Kong Gateway, HashiCorp Vault, Keycloak, Redis, Hazelcast, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.

I deliver end-to-end features, take ownership of complex projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready services. I also have mobile and frontend experience (React, Angular, React Native) and have contributed to large-scale systems in South Africa, Nigeria, and Canada, with certifications in Oracle SQL and PMP.
