I’m looking for a HIPAA-compliant, remote role supporting US healthcare teams—handling CMS-1500 claims, coding, denials follow-up, and partner communications—where I can grow in AAPC CPC + CPB certification and strengthen reliable revenue cycle outcomes.

I’m a Remote Medical Biller, Coder, and Virtual Assistant with hands-on experience supporting a US-based primary care clinic in Maryland. I manage revenue cycle activities using eClinicalWorks (ECW), submit CMS-1500 claim forms, and perform follow-up to resolve unpaid and underpaid claims—especially with referral partners including Optum and Veterans Evaluation Services (VES).

I code across ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and CPT/HCPCS procedure codes for primary care and specialized services, coordinate insurance verification and pre-authorisation to minimise claim denials, and maintain strict HIPAA compliance in all remote handling, storage, and transmission of PHI. I also support patient and partner communications, scheduling, weekly updates across time zones, and provider credentialing processes, while currently completing a Diploma in Medical Coding and Billing and actively pursuing AAPC CPC + CPB dual certification.
