I’m a Certified Pharmacy Technician with 6+ years of experience in retail and specialty pharmacy environments. I specialize in specialty and biologic medication processing, prescription intake, and high-volume, accurate prescription data entry while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

In my current remote role at ACCREDO SPECIALTY PHARMACY / CIGNA, I process high-volume specialty medication prescriptions across multiple therapeutic areas, including endocrinology, rheumatology, and gastroenterology. I review, interpret, and enter prescription information into pharmacy systems for fulfillment, documenting provider communications and workflow actions across multiple platforms.

I collaborate closely with provider offices and pharmacists to obtain prescription clarifications, refill authorizations, missing information, and issue resolution. I also support pharmacists by identifying prescriptions requiring clinical review and escalating concerns appropriately, while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and company quality standards.

Before that, at WALGREENS Pharmacy, I processed electronic, faxed, verbal, and written prescriptions in a high-volume retail setting and resolved insurance claim rejections with prescribers, insurance providers, and patients. I’m also immunization certified, administering COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations, and I’ve led front-end operations as a WALGREENS Shift Lead.
