I am looking for opportunities that allow me to leverage my extensive translation and interpreting experience while contributing to meaningful projects in a collaborative environment.

I am a highly experienced Welsh <> English translator and interpreter with over 25 years in the field. Since establishing my freelance career in 2003 and later forming my limited company in 2008, I have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality translation and interpreting services across Wales. My expertise extends to remote simultaneous interpretation, which I developed significantly during the pandemic, ensuring clients met their Welsh Language Standards obligations.

In my recent role as Senior Welsh Language Advisor at Ofcom Cymru, I advised on policy and compliance with Welsh Language legislation, collaborating with public sector organizations. However, my passion lies in translation and interpreting, which has driven my return to my company. I have a proven track record of managing interpreting departments, training colleagues, and providing linguistic advice, all while maintaining a commitment to accuracy and client satisfaction.
