What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a customer chat support role at a company that encourages “childlike curiosity and ambition,” where I can help customers untangle problems through clear, kind communication.

In my current freelance work, I guide MVTC through its first donor engagement strategy, turning complex needs into clear concept notes, briefs and outreach letters. I also built start-up systems and use AI tools to research, draft and refine communications.

At Vine Art Studio, which I founded in 2023, I sell Afrocentric digital art through Ko-fi, Selar and Payhip. Growing a Pinterest audience to 10,000+ monthly visitors gave me firsthand experience of what makes an online experience clear, friendly and trustworthy.

As Acting Executive Director / Program Director, I led a humanitarian operation through civil conflict, mediated a refugee-camp crisis that had halted services, and led a staff evacuation during the 2013 Juba crisis. I kept teams and communities informed and steady through clear communication.

Across my work in education, humanitarian programs and consulting, I’ve helped people make sense of difficult issues and find a way forward. I’m now looking to bring that experience, calm and curiosity to customer chat support.
