Miriam Ramos
@miriamramos
I build reproducible Python data pipelines for gravitational-wave and astronomical research.
What I'm looking for
At LIGO Livingston Observatory, I support CHETA optical-system assembly, alignment, beam profiling, calibration monitoring, and automated experimental-data processing.
I'm a Physics Ph.D. candidate at UTRGV, where I analyze large scientific datasets in Python, develop reproducible workflows in GitLab, and mentor undergraduates in gravitational-wave data analysis. My research includes HST WFC3/UVIS photometry, light curves, color-magnitude diagrams, variability analysis, and scientific visualizations.
I've also taught physics, astronomy, mathematics, and statistics, bringing clear communication and data interpretation to technical work.
