What I'm looking for

I seek data-focused roles where I can apply rigorous experimental and ML skills, mentor teams, and translate complex data into actionable insights in collaborative, research-driven environments.

I am a Ph.D. physicist with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who applies data-driven approaches to real-world challenges. My background blends experimental research, statistical analysis, and machine learning to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.

As an assistant professor and former graduate researcher, I taught courses from introductory physics to quantum mechanics and thermodynamics while mentoring students and communicating technical concepts clearly. I have hands-on experience in material characterization, spectroscopic techniques, and transport-property measurements.

Technically, I am proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in supervised and unsupervised learning, classification, regression, anomaly detection, feature engineering, and basic deep learning workflows. I also work with data cleaning, preprocessing, integration, visualization (Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn), and experimental design for predictive modeling.

I have published research, received an outstanding graduate research award, hold a patent application, and completed multiple Coursera projects and certifications related to machine learning and data science. I am eager to apply my research rigor and mentoring experience to data-focused roles that drive measurable impact.
