What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a higher-ed role where I can lead student success for veterans and applicants, use CRM systems to improve enrollment and communication, and strengthen compliance and records processes while working with supportive teams.

I’m an experienced Veterans Services Manager and U.S. Army NCO who builds student success systems that work—especially for veteran and military-affiliated learners. I streamline enrollment processes using CRM systems and pair it with practical advising and compliance guidance.

At Owens Community College, I’ve developed initiatives like “Veteran of the Month” and “Vets & Pets,” and I coordinated a Veterans Day campus event with 8 external partners—tripling prior attendance. I guide 300+ veteran and military-affiliated students through VA benefit certification, enrollment, and compliance, while advising course selection, registration, and degree planning.

Previously, I served as an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor / Athletic Liaison at Lourdes University, where I improved student record management efficiency using Slate CRM—boosting data accuracy and accessibility. I led targeted communication strategies reaching thousands of prospects, hosted family campus visits and group tours (up to 150 students), and managed student-athlete records for NAIA eligibility.

I bring operational leadership from the U.S. Army Reserve as a Horizontal Construction Engineer (NCO), including distributed communication for readiness and led teams in travel logistics, equipment distribution, and housing/barracks establishment during operations. I also coach and manage athletics, strengthening team coordination, daily practice routines, and academic readiness.
