Co-founded and lead Duos AI, building a bootstrapped AI career coach with voice-agent interviews and interactive coaching mechanics. Designed and built the voice-agent orchestration and an LLM-driven interview harness, and led privacy-by-design data handling for GDPR compliance.

Created RITL (Reasoning-in-the-Loop Testing), a quality framework for conversational products where agents reason and adapt between actions. The approach includes controlled persona experiments and a regression suite that rewrites and extends test cases, with human-in-the-loop review gates.

Led Backbase R&D for an in-house process orchestration engine to replace Camunda, including design, pilot delivery, and regulated-banking beta execution. Originated an AI track with agentic frameworks and led stakeholder communication for the new value stream.

Led engineering org operations for Backbase Customer Success, a B2B banking SaaS serving 120+ regulated financial institutions. Managed performance and engineering operations org-wide, restructured engineering into autonomous chapters, and helped scale development centers through recruiting and onboarding programs.

Co-founded Lifter.ai, a career-coaching practice with 200+ paying clients. Created the tooling and codified the coaching method, using qualitative/quantitative research and journey mapping for Duos product discovery.

Managed engineering in Backbase Customer Success, including launching a Poland development center from scratch during the pandemic. Ran the QA chapter and served as a C-level counterpart for client banks on business-critical architecture decisions, supporting go-lives.

Transitioned into engineering management at Aurea Software, assembling and leading multiple remote teams. Managed an API team, led cross-functional prototyping, built a reusable Angular component library, and automated team reporting with a serverless AWS Lambda chatbot.

Founded LessCode, a free coding education program delivered through real software outcomes. Organized intern-level developers into teams building for volunteer organizations and personally mentored each team.

Worked as Chief Software Architect for Aurea Software, leading architectural changes across enterprise products. Migrated a telecom suite to AWS (including Oracle RAC to Amazon Aurora), designed SOA architecture for Crossover.com’s B2C version, and introduced infrastructure-as-code.

At Cubic Robotics, led engineering efforts for an NLP smart-home voice assistant. Split an unscalable monolith into microservices and built the machine-learning service to train and test NLP models for intent recognition.

Built microservices for the Alfa Business Mobile app and helped modernize the engineering workflow. Took Docker to production and made TDD/BDD standard practice in the team.

Rebuilt the monitoring system backend for QIWI terminal businesses that own self-service terminals. Introduced Elasticsearch to production as part of the modernization effort.

Created firstBrain, a local-first Claude Code plugin that builds per-developer comprehension profiles from agent transcripts. It highlights understanding gaps in real time and makes the coding agent more conservative where understanding is thin.

Earned an MBA (CIO track) at Higher School of Economics in 2017.

Earned a BSc in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science. Wrote part of the telemetry software for the European Robotic Arm, which reached the ISS in 2021.
