What I'm looking for

I seek localisation or translation roles applying my Korean–Spanish expertise and QC skills in collaborative, culturally aware teams, delivering high-quality media localisation and opportunities for professional growth.

I am a highly analytical East Asian Studies graduate specialising in Korean–Spanish translation and media localisation.

I have hands-on experience in subtitling, segmentation, editing and quality control, having independently translated five webtoon series and performed QC on over 300 chapters for Lezhin Entertainment. I also contributed to more than 125 projects at Rakuten Viki and subtitled or translated over 20,000 lines for acclaimed series.

My academic work complements my practice: I completed a thesis on translating Korean into Spanish with full marks and first class honours, and I studied at Sogang University on a national scholarship. Coursework and research across history, philosophy and intercultural mediation inform my translation choices and cultural sensitivity.

I collaborate effectively within large teams, deliver culturally attuned content for diverse audiences, and bring strong time management and attention to detail. I welcome roles that allow me to apply rigorous, ethically grounded translation and QC skills in media localisation.
