Alejandro Martín Ramos

I am a bilingual translator focused on Japanese-to-English and English-to-Spanish localization for comics, manga and video games. I have formal training in translation and interpreting from the University of Málaga and a certificate in localization and audiovisual translation.

My hands-on experience includes translating dialogues, onomatopoeias and UI text for Lezhin Entertainment, OTAKU Plan and RestScans, where I transcribed Japanese dialogue and produced accurate translations using tools like Jisho and Lexilogos.

I have studied Japanese for four years to read manga, light novels and visual novels, and I hold C1-level English certification (Aptis). I also have skills in photo and video editing and practical experience working with Excel for localization scripts.

I bring cultural knowledge of anime, manga and visual-novel audiences, attention to detail in dialogue and onomatopoeia adaptation, and a passion for delivering localized content that preserves tone and intent.
