What I'm looking for

I am seeking senior-level roles in child welfare or program leadership where I can lead practice improvements, shape policy, mentor staff, and drive measurable outcomes in a collaborative, community-focused organization.

I am a results-driven child welfare leader with over 30 years of experience in agency oversight, program development, practice implementation, and staff management. I have a sustained record of improving service delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering community engagement.

In my current role I directed recruitment, training, licensing, and monitoring of 500+ public foster homes and oversaw placement processes to ensure timely, suitable care. I led a pilot kin-first practice shift that contributed to statewide policy changes and the rewrite of COMAR 07.02.09 (Kinship Care Requirements).

Earlier roles include expanding and implementing the Family Team Decision Making (FTDM) model citywide, supervising investigative teams in Child Protective Services, and managing large caseloads while consistently exceeding performance targets. I trained staff across the agency and contributed to statewide FTDM practice implementation.

I also bring teaching experience as an adjunct faculty member and hold an MSW plus multiple practitioner and supervisory certifications, including TBRI Trainer and NASW Board Approved Field Supervisor credentials. I prioritize operational efficiency, measurable outcomes, and collaborative, trauma-informed approaches to child welfare practice.
