Manzi Ivan

I’m a bilingual engineering undergraduate with hands-on experience blending communication, research, and technical curiosity. I bring real-world cross-cultural clarity through interpretation and translation, with a strong attention to detail.

As a part-time Medical Interpreter, I provided real-time interpretation between Kinyarwanda and English during consultations. I translated verbal and written information while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity—helping patients understand medical information, treatment plans, and administrative procedures.

I also teach English as a volunteer, creating interactive lessons and language activities to strengthen vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills. I adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and proficiency levels, and I enjoy building trust through clear communication.

Alongside my studies at Istanbul Bilgi University, I worked in the Bachelor degree office supporting international students with administrative inquiries. I’m energized by how language expertise can connect to AI and emerging technologies, and I’m looking to keep growing through research, technical writing, and language-driven innovation.
