What I'm looking for

I seek technical leadership roles building robust embedded and edge-compute products, with cross-functional teams, strong testing/CI and opportunities to mentor engineers.

I am a senior embedded systems engineer and physicist with a background in electronics, cloud-native systems and research engineering. I hold B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronics Engineering and a B.Sc. in Physics from Universidad de los Andes, and I progressed from research and computing operations into backend, cloud and embedded leadership roles.

As Tech Lead Manager I grew an embedded systems team, authored RFCs and technical design documents, and built test automation targeting POSIX-compliant NuttX RTOS with C99/C11 and WebAssembly integration. I have led product and startup efforts as a cofounder and CTO, designing image acquisition pipelines, motion control and embedded stacks using C++11, OpenCV, Python and ARM mbed.

I deliver pragmatic engineering practices: CI and hardware-in-the-loop validation, containerization and sandboxing, and mentor engineers to produce maintainable systems. I seek roles where I can drive embedded and edge-compute products from architecture through production, emphasizing robustness and cross-functional collaboration.
