What I'm looking for

I'm seeking Application Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, Systems Engineer, Field Application Engineer, R&D Engineer, Optical/Vision Systems Engineer, or IoT Systems Engineer roles involving sensors, cameras, embedded devices, optical links, and real-world prototype deployment. My preferred locations are Spain, the European Union, remote, or hybrid.

At OCC4SAT / ULPGC / IDeTIC, I developed Optical Camera Communication satellite-link prototypes, from requirements and system architecture through electronics, firmware, integration, and validation. I designed embedded hardware including STM32-based LED driver boards and Raspberry Pi CM5 carrier boards for camera-based receivers.

At IDeTIC, I proposed, implemented, and experimentally tested modulation and demodulation schemes that used event cameras as asynchronous optical receivers. I built Python workflows for event-stream processing and signal extraction using OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, and Metavision SDK.

At Visionar, I developed embedded and edge-computing prototypes connecting Raspberry Pi hardware with AWS IoT services. I designed and built Recorda, a Raspberry Pi Zero and ReSpeaker audio-recording device with battery power management, edge deployment, and a custom 3D-printed enclosure.

At Inria Chile, I developed and deployed an IoT data acquisition system across two agricultural fields for climate monitoring and frost-event prediction. My work included wireless sensor endpoints and Raspberry Pi gateways forwarding data to AWS IoT Core.
