I am a senior informatics R&D professional with a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology and over 14 years of systems-level experience across Linux/Unix and Windows environments. I combine industry and academic experience to deliver applied research and production-grade solutions.
I have held senior technical and research roles including Senior Staff Engineer (Photonics) at Finisar and senior researcher positions in Brazil and Europe, and serve on a content advisory board for LogRocket. My work spans embedded systems, firmware, image processing, bioinformatics and AI/ML with practical deployments in healthcare, semiconductors and telecoms.
Technically I am hands-on with embedded toolchains and microcontroller architectures, functional and systems programming (C/C++, Python, Rust, Go, Erlang), and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow/Keras/TFX. I have led R&D in cryo-EM informatics, medical imaging, NLP/BioNLP, blockchain prototyping (Tezos/Ethereum) and IoT/HPC integrations.
