I build things that hold. Knowledge systems, editorial architectures, content frameworks that keep working even when the team grows, the project spans three countries, or the people who built the original version have moved on. That durability isn’t accidental. It comes from understanding why something should exist before deciding how to build it.

My greatest skill is zooming out far enough to see the whole picture, then zooming in to build with that picture held in mind. I find the governing idea — the thing that makes all the pieces cohere — and I design from there. The joy is in watching a complex system become simple for the people who use it.

For twenty years I have built across the full range: educator learning content, EU-funded programme documentation, AI governance frameworks, bilingual institutional content, curriculum systems for healthcare professionals and engineers. I have owned quality and sign-off across distributed contributor networks in multiple countries, structured complex programmes into lifecycle stages, trained educators to adopt new tools with genuine confidence, and brought evidenced points of view to leadership about what should change. The work has always combined ideation and structure in the same hand — I am equally comfortable generating the idea and designing the system that delivers it consistently over time.

What I care about most is whether people trust the systems I build. A knowledge architecture nobody reaches for is a filing cabinet. Good governance is not the enemy of creative work. It is the structure that lets creative work survive.
