Laurel White
@laurelwhite
I build go-to-market strategies, brand positioning, and market expansion plans for growing ventures.
What I'm looking for
My name is Laurel White, and my interest in marketing started with a love for understanding how brands connect with people, a curiosity that's taken me from Tucson to the Mediterranean. This year, I completed my Global MBA at the American College of the Mediterranean, building on my Bachelor's in Marketing from the University of Arizona. I'm excited to bring that international perspective, along with my passion for brand strategy, market research, and data-driven decision making, into my next role in marketing.
This past summer, I interned at Truckly, a two-sided freight transportation marketplace startup based in France, where I focused on building its European expansion strategy. My work included analyzing priority markets for entry, developing B2B and B2C go-to-market strategies, and translating that research into a 90 to 180 day implementation roadmap with clear milestones. This experience deepened my interest in global marketing, as I discovered how much I enjoy balancing the creative side of strategy development with the analytical challenge of turning market research into an actionable, tangible plan.
During my MBA program, I also collaborated with a team to develop an original startup concept into an investor ready pitch, validating our business model through customer discovery and MVP testing with real users. This project was a natural complement to my marketing background as it sharpened my entrepreneurial thinking and strengthened my ability to translate customer insight into a researched and implementable venture concept.
I bring an international perspective, strategic mindset, and creative energy to every project, and I'm excited to apply those strengths as I further build my career in marketing.
