What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can support students or clients with clear guidance, empathetic communication, and practical problem-solving—helping people connect to the right resources, stay on track, and make confident next steps.

I’m an Academic Advisor focused on helping students with course selection, registration, and the development of clear educational goals. I explain college policies, procedures, and graduation requirements, and I support students as they make informed decisions about majors, transfer plans, and careers.

Previously, I delivered strength-based services to youth and families through Agape Child and Family Services, facilitating connections to educational, mental health, substance abuse, and workforce development resources. I also developed individualized service plans by documenting needed, desired, and requested services while supporting mentoring and gang resistance efforts.

Earlier roles strengthened my people-first communication and problem-solving approach. As a Patient Engagement Specialist at Advise Insurance, I handled inbound calls, ensured patients’ insurance plans were updated, identified process improvements, and escalated unresolved issues with care—while my work as a School Based Facilitator at Girls Inc involved curriculum-based activities, recruitment and registration, and helping participants build positive peer relationships.
