khalfalla awedat
@khalfallaawedat
I build AI, computer vision, and immersive-learning programs that connect research, labs, and industry-ready student projects.
What I'm looking for
At SUNY Morrisville, I lead Gaming and Extended Reality curriculum development, built a VR/AR research lab, and teach Python, C#, C++, database management, and web design. I also coordinate academic programs and mentor students toward careers in gaming and information technology.
My research applies deep learning, computer vision, neuromorphic computing, and biomedical signal processing to solar fault detection, precision agriculture, LiDAR perception, healthcare, and autonomous systems. I bring more than a decade of teaching, laboratory development, and engineering experience, including modernizing engineering labs at Pacific Lutheran University and developing automated diagnostic processes for electrical distribution systems at GECOL.
