What I'm looking for

I’m looking to teach and develop computer science programs that are inclusive, ethical, and project-based—supporting students toward certifications and post-secondary readiness in both online and in-person settings.

I’m a computer science educator and software engineer with industry, research, and secondary/post-secondary teaching experience. I’m known for student-centered instruction, inclusive curriculum design, and innovative pedagogical practices.

At Northeast Guilford High School, I teach Computer Science Principles, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, CompTIA, and Computer Engineering I. I design standards-aligned lessons that emphasize ethical computing, accessibility, and real-world problem solving, using project-based learning, algorithms, and app development.

Beyond the classroom, I’ve led and supported applied research as Principal Investigator / Project Manager for SBIR Phase I & II federal research contracts with NOAA. I collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and have experience in technical writing, reporting, and dissemination of findings.

Earlier in my career, I built and maintained software systems for test equipment automation and RF analysis, and I provided client/server support, technical training, and internal software development. Across roles, I mentor diverse learners through multiple pathways to success, including industry certifications and post-secondary readiness.
