At Michigan Technological University, I designed and launched a fully online, asynchronous Artificial Intelligence course for the online Master's program, including its structure, learning outcomes, and assessments. I also completed formal graduate-level training in online pedagogy.
I teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science Programming, Computer Organization and Design, and Computer Networks. I adapt instruction for face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats and mentor students on applied AI/ML projects.
My research applies deep learning and computer vision to medical imaging, laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgery, and automated performance assessment. I have produced 8+ peer-reviewed publications.
At Western Michigan University, I conducted Ph.D. research in medical image segmentation and real-time object detection, and taught the Data Communications practical lab. Earlier, I designed computer engineering course and lab curricula at Tafila Technical University and supervised undergraduate capstone projects.
