Communications and programs professional dedicated to community development.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated communications and programs professional with a strong foundation in social work and community engagement. My journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Belize, followed by a Master's in Applied Communications from Fitchburg State University. Throughout my career, I have embraced various roles that have allowed me to advocate for marginalized communities, particularly within the LGBT population, and facilitate programs that promote growth and development.
My professional experience includes internships at the Department of Human Services and St. Luke Methodist Primary School, where I honed my skills in case management and program implementation. As the Programme and Communications Coordinator for the Belize Association of Planners, I successfully managed stakeholder engagement strategies and project documentation, ensuring that our initiatives met their objectives. I am passionate about fostering inclusive environments and empowering individuals through education and advocacy.
