Kayla B
@kaylab
Healthcare administrative professional skilled in scheduling, patient triage, EMR, and patient-focused support.
What I'm looking for
I am a healthcare administrative professional with experience scheduling for multiple physicians, triaging patient questions, and managing high-volume patient communication. I bring reliable attention to detail and a commitment to patient-centered service.
In prior roles I scheduled appointments for 11 physicians, handled chart documentation, faxed orders, and worked daily in EMR systems while answering incoming calls and verifying insurance. I am comfortable managing busy front-desk workflows and supporting clinical teams.
I also have background working with disability services, assessing applications and arranging in-person interviews, and assisting clients with accessibility needs. My work has required empathy, clear communication, and familiarity with ICD-10 codes and application review processes.
Earlier internships in cultural resource management and museum operations strengthened my research, GIS mapping, artifact cataloging, and public outreach skills, and I have co-authored a publication related to material analysis. I seek roles where I can combine administrative rigor with strong patient and public service.
