Jose Chaves

I’m an International trade student at UCEVA and an active member of a marketing agency, with a strong interest in global trade, international logistics, and business management. I bring fast learning, proactivity, and strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, and I’m motivated to add value while building my professional experience.

In my role as Content Creator & Technical Support at Smart Marketing Inteligente, I develop digital content focused on visual communication and brand positioning. I handle graphic design, audiovisual production, and video editing, and I support content planning and execution while optimizing workflows through digital tools. I also collaborate with the team on creative concept development to ensure alignment between strategy, aesthetics, and messaging.

Through my work with UCEVA’s Research Group in Foresight and Neuromarketing, I started as an English transcriber and was promoted to Quality Control (QC). I convert audio into verbatim and clean formats, then review and validate transcriptions for quality, coherence, and compliance—consistently meeting tight deadlines. This experience strengthened my attention to detail, quality thinking, and process improvement mindset.

I also evaluate digital ads as an Ads Quality Rater with TELUS Digital, classifying ads based on quality and relevance guidelines and checking alignment with user intent. I analyze patterns and context to detect inconsistencies, low-quality, or misleading content, and identify issues that can improve user experience. Earlier, I developed a strong service foundation as a Customer Service Representative for national and international clients, and I supported academic logistics as an English Teaching Assistant—experiences that sharpened my organization and ability to communicate across different audiences.
