Jonathan Werle
@jonathanwerle
I build AI-enabled workflow systems that strengthen mission-driven organizations.
What I'm looking for
I founded FlowForge to help organizations eliminate repetitive manual work and build operational systems that support their teams. I design automated workflows that reduce complexity, move information seamlessly, and free people for strategic and creative work.
My work combines responsible AI integration and modern automation tools with more than 20 years of operational leadership across education, nonprofit, and public-sector organizations. I partner closely with teams to understand processes, remove friction, and create reliable, scalable systems that are easy to maintain.
Previously, I served as Chief Operating Officer at Hebrew Public, overseeing operational functions across its expanding network of high-achieving K–8 charter schools. At New Classrooms, I helped establish inaugural operations functions and grew the team from 8 to 50 full-time employees in 1.5 years.
At the New York City Department of Education, I led strategic analysis, planning, and crisis response across major operational functions, including initiatives that saved more than $30 million annually. I’m energized by ambitious, mission-driven teams that are unafraid to evolve.
