Joaquin Cortes

I’m a proactive Technology Project Manager focused on delivering technological solutions that align with business goals. I’m currently finishing my thesis (April 2025–present) while working in the software factory area.

In my current role, I act as the bridge between business and development teams. My main responsibility is to understand needs and requirements from both sides and translate them into clear, actionable system solutions—ensuring smooth and effective communication.

Previously, I worked as a Recruiter and Junior Functional Analyst (December 2023–November 2024), and I’ve also taken on lead responsibilities in Base Operations (December 2022–March 2023). These experiences strengthened my leadership, organization, and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.

I’m passionate about teamwork and leadership and I’ve consistently developed those strengths through group involvement and sports. Basketball for 7 years and leadership roles in event organization and institute experiences taught me motivating teams, coexistence, and accountability—skills I apply in fast-moving project environments.
