As a Video Interpreter (VI) at Sorenson, customer service is the top priority. I provide accurate and timely interpretation, ready to interpret for those with limited language as well as those with an expansive vocabulary.

I worked with a team helping to launch the ASL Interpreter program, visiting several sites a month providing training and education to supervisors pertaining to Deaf employees, ADA and accessibility. I helped develop several power points and collected data to reduce vendor costs while increasing access.

As a Video Interpreter, I interpreted all calls and provided consistent customer service to all callers. I was prepared to interpret all calls ranging from prison, to medical, to education, business and legal.

I was a freelance interpreter and then served as their Customer Relations Manager, helping with contracts, customer and interpreter feedback, and continued interpreting as needed. I interpreted for various medical situations, educational environments, and legal settings.

I worked with middle school and high school students, serving as the interpreter in the evening hours. I accompanied many students in the ambulance for various injuries that occurred.

Completed an Associate's degree at Riverside City College. This education provided a foundation in general studies and prepared me for further professional development in interpreting.
