What I'm looking for

I’m looking for translation and language access work where I can bridge language gaps with Spanish/English expertise, cultural fluency, and human-reviewed AI workflows—supporting outreach, accessibility, and clear communication in multicultural, community-centered environments.

I’m a Bilingual UCLA graduate (June 2025) in Spanish and Community & Culture, with a strong focus on translation and language access. I’ve built my foundation through relevant coursework in Bilingualism, Language and Identity, Spanish for the Professions, and research authored as two papers on Latinx identity and language access in L.A. communities.

In my internships, I created bilingual content to improve accessibility and outreach, conducted community outreach via phone and in-person events, and translated and transcribed English content into Spanish for educational accessibility. I also manage AI-assisted transcription platforms with always-on human review for tone and accuracy, and I’ve supported interpretation and document translation for family members in medical, legal, and educational settings since 2009—bringing lived experience, cultural fluency, and a clear, patient communication style.
