At Amnesty International, I developed an equity, people and culture strategy that included a pay equity analysis, updated job descriptions, and a union-specific action plan. I also created staff training on Care Culture and decolonizing the organization.
I founded Marginalized Majority to develop intersectional education and training for marginalized communities. In its first six months, the organization implemented 45 workshops; it has since served more than 30,000 queer marginalized individuals across Canada and delivered training at 15 major Canadian organizations.
My consulting and research have included community consultations, policy frameworks, and studies on gender, migration, and marginalized communities, including work with the World Bank, Palladium Group, and American University of Beirut. I’ve also facilitated workshops and lectures on gender, queer theory, and inclusion at universities and community organizations.
