Jade Vermeeren

I recently completed a Master’s degree in Communication at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), with a strong interest in digital communication, research, outreach, and understanding how people respond to different messages and ideas. During my internship at WMH Project, a communication agency, I gained hands-on experience across content creation, copywriting, market research, client management, scriptwriting, interviews, and digital advertising through Google Ads and Meta Ads.

Alongside my academic and communication experience, I have worked in hospitality, events, animation, and as an au pair in Switzerland. These experiences have taught me to be adaptable, independent, organised, and comfortable working with many different types of people. I genuinely enjoy communication and tend to thrive in environments where I can take initiative, solve problems independently, learn quickly, and interact with others.

I also have experience in proactive outreach and sales through a year in network marketing. This experience taught me valuable skills in prospecting, starting conversations with people I did not know, handling objections and rejection, following up consistently, and communicating with different personalities. I am comfortable with cold outreach and high-volume communication and see this as a valuable part of my professional experience.

My current interests are increasingly focused on health, wellness, women's health and empowerment, nutrition, travel, psychology, and the connection between physical and mental wellbeing. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate programme in Orthomolecular Healthcare, alongside my background in communication. I particularly enjoy reading scientific research and finding ways to translate complex information into something clear, engaging, and accessible to a wider audience.

I am fluent in Dutch and English and have a good working knowledge of French. I am especially interested in remote and international opportunities in communication, content, research, customer success, outreach, sales, community, or operations. I am open-minded about the type of role and am happy to start wherever I can contribute, learn quickly, and gain valuable experience.

Long term, I am interested in combining communication and health, particularly around women's health and wellbeing, but for now I am eager to explore different environments, build strong professional experience, and work with ambitious international teams.
