At Bidvest McCarthy Toyota, I manage a R1 billion national stock portfolio across 20 retail sites and regularly report financial, operational, and stock performance to Board and Exco. I reduced stock financing costs from R114 million to R40 million annually and helped grow APU sales by 14% year-on-year.
I built the Procurement and Customer Experience departments from scratch, hiring, training, and coaching teams that now operate independently. I lead 18 staff across business units, use SAP, HubSpot, Excel macros, and AI-enabled planning tools to improve reporting, forecasting, productivity, and customer service.
I also deliver end-to-end CapEx, lease, facilities, trade marketing, supplier, and commercial initiatives, including R98 million and R170 million builds. I prefer building durable systems and capable teams over repeatedly firefighting the same problems.
