I’m an experienced IT Support and Systems Technician with 15+ years in backup solutions, networking, and systems administration. I focus on implementing secure, resilient backup strategies, troubleshooting complex IT issues, and delivering customer-focused technical support.

Since March 2019 as a Senior Technician at MRBSecure, I lead backup software delivery from planning and design to build, testing, and operational support. I installed and configured backup solutions tailored to client environments, monitored production systems, and implemented corrective measures. I also proposed improvements to optimize performance and reliability.

Previously, I supervised IP and hardware configurations for sensors at base stations on a Vodacom contract, and at Ice Cell Services (Liquid Telecom contract) I installed LTE devices and routers (Cisco, Zhone, OneAccess), handled fibre patching, splicing, and testing, and configured ONT devices and SIP voice services. Earlier roles included remote support work with Windows Server 2012 and Active Directory, Mikrotik router configuration, and Linux server support, plus desktop/printer/server support.

I hold multiple certifications, including CCNA, Microsoft Installing & Configuring Windows Server 2012, and Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE). I’ve designed and maintained complex LAN/WAN networks and successfully implemented secure backup and disaster recovery solutions—always with strong client relationships built through reliable service delivery.
