As an experienced Senior UX Researcher, I have over 8+ years of experience conducting mixed-methods research and creating human-centered solutions for complex usability problems. I own the research lifecycle, from planning and running studies to analyzing and presenting results to cross-functional teams and stakeholders. I have expertise in a wide range of research methodologies, including A/B testing, surveys, card sorting, contextual inquiry, and more.
In my most recent role as a Senior Design Researcher at Truist, I owned the research lifecycle in the commercial banking space, focusing on reports, dashboards, and statement delivery for high-revenue clients. I used a variety of mixed-methods research approaches and maintained a cadence of monthly moderated and unmoderated research studies. I also cultivated strong partnerships with design and product stakeholders to ensure research objectives were met.
Prior to that, I served as an Assistant Professor of Technical Communication at Kennesaw State University, where I taught user experience research and design courses and led numerous research projects. I also launched the KSU Usability Research Lab and mentored undergraduate researchers. As Vice President of User Experience and Content Strategy at Content Garden, I managed client relationships and conducted user research and content audits for small to medium businesses and nonprofits.
